As an organisation that processes personal data, we are compliant with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). This notice informs the customer of the data that we process, why we process it, the lawful basis, how long we keep your data and your rights regarding your data.

The personal data that we hold about you is held in order for us to provide you with an efficient and effective decorating service.

Your data is provided to us:

Personal data is stored in electronic files on password protected computers and backed up to a third party, secure, cloud based storage, currently Dropbox.  Bank account details remain on bank statements for the duration of retention. E-mails that contain personal data are stored on a third party online e-mail server, currently LCN.  Our telephone calls are recorded using Air Landline.

Lawful basis for processing:

We may lawfully process your data in order for us to carry out our core function of providing a decorating service.

We do not process any “Special Categories” of data.

Failure to provide data:

If you fail to provide us with data, we may not be able to enter into a contract with you.

Who we share your data with:

We share your data with employees of the company who have responsibility to carry out administrative and/or carrying out the performance of a contract, as well as external contractors who are utilised for the performance of the contract.  We also share details with our accountant.

Protecting your data:

We are aware that the security of your data is important. All of our digital data is on password protected computers and backed up on third party, secure, cloud based storage.

Retention periods:

We only keep your data for as long as it is needed.

Where you provide consent to our use of your data, you also have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.  We will stop processing your data.
